In order to review the progress of various sectors under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the District, a meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, here. The DC also reviewed the online integration of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) data with Revenue Records of beneficiaries.

At the outset, DC reviewed sector wise status of applications received by the departments and the expenditure incurred over the cases. He reviewed applications  received during the current year seeking benefits under different components of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme.

Meanwhile, he sought details of spill over cases from previous year which have not been disposed yet for want of funds. Highlighting the pivotal role of HADP in establishing a robust and profitable agricultural ecosystem, the DC underscored its significance in supporting local farmers. 

He emphasized the need for effective implementation of the plan to ensure maximum benefits for the farming communities. While reviewing the progress of PM Kisan, the DC asked the Tehsildars to expedite the verification process of the cases under the scheme in a stipulated time to finalize the list of beneficiaries.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Dar,  Chief Agriculture Officer, Manohar Lal Sharma, Sectoral Officers of Agriculture, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, HPMC & Sericulture besides Tehsildar Headquarter.
