Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mrs. Punamdeep Kaur today convened a special meeting of officers and employees. She said that as per the orders of Chief Minister of Punjab Mr Bhagwant Singh Maan, the state government was following zero tolerance policy towards corruption. She said that no corrupt practices will be tolerated any level of government offices and strict actions will be taken against the erring officials.
She said that the people coming to the government offices for their work should be listened to diligently and their problems should be solved on priority basis. Deputy Commissioner strictly directed that every officer and employee should reach the offices on time. She said that surprise checking of any department can be done at any time, so all kinds of documents, files and other works should be kept updated.
She told officials that the Punjab Government is committed to do people's work on a priority basis, so any kind of complaint should not be treated as normal, but should be taken seriously. Along with this, the complaints received on the online portal e-services should also be closely monitored and disposed in a timely manner.
Also, all departments have been instructed to redress the complaints received under the Government Grievance Redressal System in a timely manner so that the general public does not have to suffer for any work. Apart from this, under the directives of the Chief Minister of Punjab, camps will be held every week by the district administration in the villages so that the people can get benefits of government schemes closer to their homes.
The revenue department was instructed to complete the cases of inteqal, land mutations, transfer, survey etc pending with them as soon as possible and submit them to their respective officials so that actions in this regard can be forwarded.

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਪੂਨਮਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਬੈਠਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਟੌਲਰੈਂਸ ਪਾਲਿਸੀ ਅਪਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਤੌਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਅਪਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਫਤਰਾਂ 'ਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੱਮਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਹੱਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ 'ਚ ਪੁੱਜਣ । ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਅਚਨਚੇਤ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼, ਫਾਈਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਅਧੀਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਬਲਕਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਈ ਸੇਵਾ 'ਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਨਿਵਾਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਤਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਵਾਰਨ ਮਿੱਥੇ ਸਮੇਂ 'ਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਆਮ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਖੱਜਲ ਖੁਆਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਪਵੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਹਫਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਕੈਂਪ ਰੱਖੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲਾਹਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਮਾਲ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਲੰਬਿਤ ਇੰਤਕਾਲ, ਸਰਵੇ ਆਦਿ ਛੇਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ (ਜ) ਅਨੁਪ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਜੌਹਲ, ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ (ਵਿਕਾਸ) ਡਾ. ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ, ਉੱਪ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੈਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਟ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮਾਲ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਨਵਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
