Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presided over a high level meeting here today to review the progress of the establishment of Bulk Drug Park in the Haroli assembly segment of Una district. He said that the State Government would act as a strategic partner in the project and additional funds would be provided apart from the aid of the Government of India to ensure its timely completion.
He said that this project would be spanning in 570 hectares of land with an estimated cost of Rs. 1923 crore. It was also decided in the meeting that the State Government would cover the operational cost of the project for the first 10 years.
He said that Bulk Drug Park would feature a common effluent treatment plant with 5 MLD capacity, a solid waste management plant, a stormwater drain network, a common solvent storage, recovery and distillation facility, stream generation plant, an advanced laboratory testing centre, an emergency response centre, hazardous operations audit centre and a centre of excellence.
Besides this, infrastructure such as pathways, canteen, fire station and administrative block would be constructed and site development works would also be carried out. He directed the industries department to expedite the tender process and address any bottlenecks to bring this project on the ground and complete all the codal formalities in a time-bound manner.
The Chief Minister said that Government contemplates to complete Bulk Drug Park at the earliest as it was one of the most important projects for the state. He said that this Bulk Drug Park would be instrumental in generating revenue and creating significant job opportunities for the youth.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Education Minister Rohit Thakur also contributed with their valuable suggestions to enhance the viability of the project and industry friendliness.
MLA Dharampur Chander Shekhar, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Principal Secretaries R.D. Nazeem, Devesh Kumar, OSD to Chief Minister Gopal Sharma, Secretary to Chief Minister Rakesh Kanwar, Advisor Infrastructure Anil Kapil, Director Industries Rakesh Prajapati and Additional Director Tilak Raj Sharma were also present on the occasion amongst others.

मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने आज यहां ऊना जिले के हरोली विधानसभा क्षेत्र में बल्क ड्रग पार्क की स्थापना की प्रगति की समीक्षा के लिए आयोजित उच्च स्तरीय बैठक की अध्यक्षता की। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार इस परियोजना में रणनीतिक साझेदार बनेगी तथा इसका कार्य समयबद्ध पूर्ण करने के लिए भारत सरकार की सहायता के अलावा अतिरिक्त धनराशि भी उपलब्ध करवाई जाएगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि 1923 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत की यह परियोजना 570 हेक्टेयर भूमि पर स्थापित होगी। बैठक में यह भी निर्णय लिया गया कि राज्य सरकार 10 वर्षों तक परियोजना की परिचालन लागत वहन करेगी। ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि बल्क ड्रग पार्क में 5 एमएलडी क्षमता वाला कॉमन एफ्लुएंट ट्रीटमेंट संयंत्र, ठोस अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन संयंत्र, स्टार्म वॉटर ड्रेन नेटवर्क, कॉमन साल्वेंट स्टोरेज, रिकवरी एवं डिस्टिलेशन सुविधा, स्ट्रीम उत्पादन संयंत्र, आधुनिक प्रयोगशाला जांच केन्द्र, आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया केन्द्र, संकटजनक संचालन लेखा केन्द्र और उत्कृष्टता केन्द्र की सुविधा होगी।
इसके अतिरिक्त पैदल पथ, कैंटीन, अग्निशमन केन्द्र, प्रशासनिक ब्लॉक जैसी आधारभूत संरचना का निर्माण किया जाएगा तथा स्थल विकास कार्य भी किए जाएंगे। उन्होंने उद्योग विभाग को निविदा प्रक्रिया में तेजी लाने, परियोजना को धरातल पर लाने के लिए किसी भी प्रकार की अड़चन को दूर करने तथा सभी औपचारिकताओं को समयबद्ध तरीके से पूरा करने के निर्देश दिए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार बल्क ड्रग पार्क को अतिशीघ्र पूर्ण करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है, क्योंकि यह राज्य की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं में से एक है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह बल्क ड्रग पार्क राजस्व सृजन में सहायक होगा तथा युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के महत्वपूर्ण अवसर उपलब्ध करवाएगा। उप-मुख्यमंत्री मुकेश अग्निहोत्री, उद्योग मंत्री हर्षवर्धन चौहान, शिक्षा मंत्री रोहित ठाकुर ने भी इस परियोजना के कार्यान्वयन से सम्बंधित बहुमूल्य सुझाव दिए।
विधायक चन्द्रशेखर, मुख्य सचिव प्रबोध सक्सेना, प्रधान सचिव आर.डी. नजीम, देवेश कुमार, मुख्यमंत्री के ओएसडी गोपाल शर्मा, मुख्यमंत्री के सचिव राकेश कंवर, सलाहकार आधारभूत संरचना अनिल कपिल, निदेशक उद्योग राकेश प्रजापति तथा अतिरिक्त निदेशक उद्योग तिलक राज शर्मा भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित थे।
