With the active support and help of the local Muslim community, the Hindu community organized a religious festival in Murran village, after a long hiatus of 51 years. Participants from various states joined the festival in Murran.

Following the migration of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley, Hindu religious festivals became rare in Pulwama. The administration and the Muslim community were committed to reviving the valley's historical image of religious harmony. Members of the Hindu community expressed gratitude, noting that all arrangements, from decorating the temple to singing Hindu verses, were managed by the local Muslim community.

Upon arriving in Murran, members of the Hindu community observed the revival of the old spirit of coexistence among different religions. Pyara Lal Pandita, a Hindu community member, remarked that organizing the Havan in Murran after 51 years was only possible with the Muslim community's active support.

He emphasized that the Muslim community consistently supports the Hindu community, ensuring all necessary arrangements were in place for the event. He further stated that the valley exemplifies a positive image of religious coexistence.

The district administration of Pulwama ensured all necessary arrangements and security measures were in place.
