Deputy Commissioner Sachin Kumar Vaishya chaired a meeting today to review the arrangements for Ei-ul Azha. The meeting, held in the DC office, was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Vinod Kumar, SSP Traffic Faisal Qureshi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shishir Gupta, Sub-Divisional Magistrates and other concerned officers.

The meeting saw participation from religious leaders who raised issues and made pertinent demands to facilitate the seamless observance of the festival. The discussions focused on ensuring adequate security, traffic management and the provision of necessary amenities to the public during the festive period.

Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of coordination among different departments to address the needs of the community. He assured that all necessary steps would be taken to provide a safe and festive environment for the celebrants.

SSP Dr. Vinod Kumar outlined the security measures that will be put in place, including the deployment of additional police forces at strategic locations.  SSP Traffic Faisal Qureshi discussed the traffic arrangements and diversions that will be implemented to manage the increased vehicular movement during the festival.
