Vij had arrived to express his condolences on the demise of Badshahpur assembly's MLA, the late Rakesh Daulatabad.
"Lok Sabha elections were one-sided" – Vij

"Congress is already broken" – Vij
Responding to a question about infighting in BJP, he said we review every election to decide what we should do. He added that Congress is already broken, and they think their workers might leave, so they are saying such things to boost their morale. Regarding a question about Ram Rahim, he said the court has made a decision, and no comment can be made on the court's decision.
"Rakesh Daulatabad was a noble MLA" – VijSh. Vij visited the residence of the late Rakesh Daulatabad, former MLA from Badshahpur assembly, and while talking to media persons there, he said Rakesh Daulatabad was a noble MLA and always concerned about solving people's problems. He mentioned that Daulatabad used to visit him regularly, came to his house many times, and also visited his office in Chandigarh. Sh. Vij described him as a very cheerful person, never seen with any tension on his face.
