The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of ongoing road projects under NABARD. Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that the development of road connectivity remains among the top priorities of the Government and the District Administration is committed towards improving the road network in the district.
She stressed upon the officers of R&B department to work with added zeal and dedication and ensure completion of all ongoing road projects within the stipulated time frame. On the occasion, it was informed that 76 projects under NABARD were approved at an estimated cost of Rs.27442.91 lakh, out of which 19 projects have been completed and work is in progress on 42 projects.
The DDC took a comprehensive review of all these projects and got feedback about progress of each project. She set timelines for all the ongoing projects and stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure completion of these projects accordingly.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineers of all R&B Divisions, Ex. Engineer PHE Kupwara and other concerned officers.
