BJP candidate for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat Sanjay Tandon's prospects got a further boost when a number of specially abled citizens of Chandigarh also declared their full support to him . Their representative Sukhbir Tiwana said on this occasion that the entire population of deaf and mute people of Chandigarh will fully support Sanjay Tandon.
"It is an emotional day for me today as my specially abled brothers and sisters have also come to meet me and extend support to me. Today, wherever I am going in Chandigarh, I am getting a lot of love and affection. The pure blessings from the hearts of the specially abled will never go waste and whenever these people will need me, I will be available 24*7 to serve them after becoming an MP."
Meanwhile , owners and employees of 15 petrol pumps in the city have declared their support for Sanjay Tandon. All workers, supervisors and pump operators of these petrol pumps will support Tandon in the elections under the leadership of Jagdeep Kumar. A number of youngsters from all the villages and colonies of Chandigarh also kept pouring in at 'Kamalam' and showed their support to Sanjay Tandon.
अब संजय टंडन का समर्थन करने दिव्यांग भी आये आगे

मेरे लिए ये एक भावुक होने का दिन है कि आज जब हमारे दिव्यांग भाई और बहन भी अपना समर्थन भरा पत्र लेकर मुझ से मिलने पहुंचे। आज चंडीगढ़ में मैं जहाँ भी जा रहा हूँ लोगों का स्नेह व् प्यार उनकी आँखों से झलकता है। उनके दिल से निकली हुई आशीष कभी व्यर्थ नहीं जाएंगी और जब जब भी इन लोगों को मेरी जरूरत होगी, मैं 24*7 चंडीगढ़ की जनता की सेवाओं के लिए पहले से ही उपलब्ध हूँ और सांसद बनने के उपरान्त भी मैं यूं ही उनके साथ कंधे से कन्धा मिला कर खड़ा रहूंगा।
यह बात भारतीय जनता पार्टी चंडीगढ़ के उम्मीदवार संजय टंडन ने उस समय कही जब पार्टी कार्यालय में सैंकड़ों की तादाद में सुखबीर टिवाणा के नेतृत्व में दिव्यांग लोग अपना समर्थन पत्र लेकर पहुंचे। इसके इलावा चंडीगढ़ के 15 पेट्रोल पम्पों के मालिकों व् कर्मियों ने भी भाजपा उम्मीदवार टंडन को अपना समर्थन पत्र सौंपा।
उक्त जानकारी प्रदान करते हुए पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता रविंद्र पठानिया ने कहा कि संजय टंडन ने आये हुए सभी दिव्यांगों का आभार व्यक्त किया और कहा कि हाल ही में उन्हें सेक्टर 27 में दिव्यांगों के एक कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ था । विभिन्न प्रतिभाओं के धनी दिव्यांग आज खेल जगत के साथ साथ अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी आम जन की तरह अपने हुनर का लोहा मनवा रहे हैं।
उनके कौशल के प्रदर्शन को देखने के उपरान्त मैं इतना प्रभावित हुआ और आभास हुआ कि कितना भी चुनौती पूर्ण रास्ता हो अगर आपका लक्ष्य तय हो और आप उस लक्ष्य को पाने को अपना जनून कायम रखोगे तो कामयाबी निश्चित तौर पर आपकी है। उधर उन्होंने पेट्रोल पंप के मालिकों, कर्मियों और सुपरवाइजर के समर्थन का भी उन्होंने आभार व्यक्त किया और कहा कि उनकी जो भी समस्याएं होंगी वो उनको हल करवाएंगे।
