In continuation of its commitment to strengthening infrastructure in the Health and Education sectors, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann inaugurated the 35th Aam Aadmi Clinic of the District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar at Balongi, this evening from Jalandhar in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Sh. Arvind Kejriwal.
District Administrative officers including Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Damanjit Singh Mann, Sub Divisional Magistrate Mohali Depankar Garg and Councillor Sarabjit Singh Samana were also present on the occasion.ADC Damanjit Singh Mann said that with the inclusion of one more Aam Aadmi Clinic, the number of existing 34 health facilities (AACs) has increased to 35.
He said that the locality where the Aam Aadmi Clinic has been thrown open today was in dire need of a clinic and with the efforts of local MLA S. Kulwant Singh, the Punjab Government gave its nod to set up the clinic here.
Dr Renu Singh, Officiating Civil Surgeon SAS Nagar, said that district Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar has been providing quality health services under the visionary leadership of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh. She said that the performance of Aam Aadmi Clinics in the district has been adjudged as better to provide primary health services.
Councillor Sarabjit Singh Samana (son of MLA Kulwant Singh Mohali) while performing the physical inaugural ceremony added that Punjab is marching ahead under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and following the Delhi's Health and Educational Model brought forward by Chief Minister Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, National Convener AAP. He said that with the dedication of 165 more Aam Aadmi Clinics, the state had a total of 829 AACs in total, today that would help the common people get better health services at their doorsteps.
The officers present at the inaugural ceremony included Tehsildar Arjun Singh Grewal, District Immunization Officer Dr Girish Dogra, *SMO Gharuran Dr Surinderpal Kaur,* Dr Anil Vashisht, Dr Loveleen Kaur, Executive Engineer PWD S S Bhullar, BEE Gautam Rishi. SDM Depankar Garg added that the newly opened Aam Aadmi Clinic to provide 75 types of free medicines as well as 41 lab test services to the residents.

ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਤੋਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲੌਂਗੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ 35ਵੇਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਦਾ ਵਰਚੁਅਲ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ) ਦਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ, ਉਪ ਮੰਡਲ ਮੈਜਿਸਟਰੇਟ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੀਪਾਂਕਰ ਗਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਂਸਲਰ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮਾਣਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
ਏ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਦਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ 34 ਸਿਹਤ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ (ਏ.ਏ.ਸੀ.) ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 35 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਜਿਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਸ. ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਡਾ: ਰੇਣੂ ਸਿੰਘ, ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ.ਨਗਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ: ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਦੂਰਅੰਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਗੁਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਇਮਰੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਕੌਂਸਲਰ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮਾਣਾ (ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਪੁੱਤਰ) ਨੇ ਰਸਮੀ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ, ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਮਾਡਲ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 165 ਹੋਰ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ 829 ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਮੁੱਹਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਉਦਘਾਟਨੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਹਿਸੀਲਦਾਰ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਟੀਕਾਕਰਨ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ: ਗਿਰੀਸ਼ ਡੋਗਰਾ, *ਐਸਐਮਓ ਘੜੂੰਆਂ ਡਾ: ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ,* ਡਾ: ਅਨਿਲ ਵਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ, ਡਾ: ਲਵਲੀਨ ਕੌਰ, ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਐੱਸਐੱਸ ਭੁੱਲਰ, ਬੀ ਈ ਈ ਗੌਤਮ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਆਦਿ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ। ਐਸ ਡੀ ਐਮ ਦੀਪਾਂਕਰ ਗਰਗ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਵਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ 75 ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਫਤ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ 41 ਲੈਬ ਟੈਸਟ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
