Under the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government’s ‘Chief Minister Teerth Yatra Scheme’ today, MLA Patiala Ajit Pal Singh Kohli flagged off the passenger bus. On the occasion of sending off the bus of pilgrims from Patiala to Sri Salasar Dham and Sri Khatu Shyam, Kohli said that the pilgrim batch sent today is the fourth batch from the Patiala Constituency.

He said that the religious journey is not limited to providing free buses only, in fact, the goods needed for the travelling are also being provided to the travellers as a token of goodness from the Punjab Government.

The kit includes a blanket, a bedsheet, a pillow and toiletry goods each. He said the pilgrims would be facilitated with night halting at Salasar Dham beside the eateries on the way to this two-day-long pilgrimage.

MLA said that under this scheme, pilgrimages to Sri Anandpur Sahib, Sri Amritsar Sahib, Sri Salasar Dham, Sri Khatu Shyam, Mata Chintapurni, Mata Vaishno Devi, Mata Jawala Ji. He said that daily buses have been arranged to go to these pilgrimage places from different districts of Punjab.
