Marking a significant milestone, a group of 30 eligible students were today flagged off for a two-month skill development program at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu.Guided by Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh, the initiative was materialized with the efforts of District Panchayat Officer (DPO) Suraj Singh and Employment Officer Imtiyaz Ali.

The District Panchayat Officer took the lead in inaugurating this transformative journey setting in motion a comprehensive two-month skill development course. The participating students, carefully selected under the AVSAR scheme, are participating in the specially curated program aimed at honing their skills.

As a pivotal component of this course, the students visited IIT Jammu, immersing themselves in a dedicated session focused on practical exposure and knowledge acquisition in their respective skill domains. This initiative underscores the District Administration's commitment to fostering a skilled and employable youth populace.

At its core, the AVSAR scheme emerges as a pivotal government initiative geared towards augmenting the employability of the youth through targeted skill development programs. Beyond the immediate benefits of the course, this strategic effort aligns with a broader vision of cultivating a workforce that meets the evolving demands of the professional landscape.

By providing practical experiences and knowledge, the AVSAR scheme seeks to empower participants, making them not just job seekers but contributors to the nation's economic growth. As the journey unfolds, it becomes clear that AVSAR is not just a program; it's a catalyst for transformative change in the lives of these aspiring young individuals.
