The Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, is making a significant impact in Ramban district. With 92,000 participants, including 35,000 women, the 51-day journey is a huge push for district administration ambition to saturate beneficiary oriented-schemes in the district by year-end.

Today, the Yatra reached the Panchayats of Trigam Lower A and B and Trigam Upper, and ward no-7 Mundas Mohalla in Batote town, emphasizing its commitment to inclusivity. Covering the entire district during the last 51 days, the Yatra has proven to be a powerful platform in informing the people about various Government schemes.

Further substantial numbers of beneficiaries have been sharing stories under Meri Kahani Meri Zubani, an important component of Yatra narrating heart- touching stories of change in their lives after taking benefits under various Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

Under the guidance of the DC, all departments are actively engaged in promoting and extending the benefits of their respective schemes. This includes widely recognized initiatives such as PMAY-G, PMAY-U, PM-JAY Ayushman Card, Poshan ICDS, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, MUDRA Yojana, KCC, and PM Kissan Nidhi.

Special emphasis is placed on healthcare accessibility, with over 3360 PM-JAY Ayushman Cards issued and regular health check-ups, including TB monitoring. Various attractive events including cultural programs celebrated Ramban District’s diverse heritage, enriching its cultural tapestry.

The collective Viksit Bharat Sankalp Pledge -taking ceremony at the heart of the Yatra unified the community, symbolizing shared aspirations. The event included awareness about government schemes and motivational speeches by the Prime Minister. The Yatra's success lies in its broad outreach, ensuring the message of the Hon'ble Prime Minister reaches every corner of the district.
