Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament, participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Panchayat Nougran, Block Bishnah. Residents and members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions extended a warm welcome to the MP and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra - a nationwide effort aimed at achieving the saturation of government flagship schemes.

The yatra, led by Block Development Officer Bishnah Roopali Mahajan, aimed to ensure timely delivery of benefits to all targeted beneficiaries. To promote public awareness and encourage community engagement, the government departments, including Rural Development, Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, Animal Husbandry, Handloom and Handicraft, set up informative stalls showcasing their respective schemes.

The MP interacted with beneficiaries, applauding their stories of transformation and development, while seeking feedback from the public on the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes. He inspected the stalls established by different departments, commending their effective efforts in scheme implementation.

Commending the Rural Development Department, he acknowledged the achievements of the Department in attaining saturation of various schemes. These include the provisioning and enhancement of basic infrastructural facilities in all Gram Panchayats, increased transparency and public participation in the daily functioning of GPs. He also commended the prompt resolution of public grievances and the strengthening of public service delivery.

Addressing the gathering, Sharma highlighted the government's initiative to directly engage citizens at their doorsteps, acquainting them with an array of schemes designed to improve livelihoods and uplift communities. He positioned this initiative as a pivotal step towards empowering the populace and fostering development across all segments of society.

Joining during the event were Dharminder Kumar (DDC-Bishnah), Surjeet Kumar (BDC Bishnah), Tehsildar Bishnah, SHO Bishnah and other senior officers from various line departments. Sharma emphasised the need for united efforts across society to realise the vision of a developed Bharat by 2047.

Encouraging community involvement, he urged individuals to actively contribute to the nation's progress. The event concluded with a Sankalp Pledge taken by the Panchayat residents to make India a Developed Nation by 2047, followed by the National Anthem.
