The District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti, Social Welfare Department, Doda observes 'Veer Bal Diwas' at Parisha Doda. DHEW-Mission Shakti team highlighted about the history of Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, as well as why "Veer Bal Diwas" is commemorated in memory of martyrs Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the two sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru.
On the first day, DHEW Doda registered the students of Parisha, Paalash and various students from different schools Doda on the My Bharat Portal. After registration, students participated in debate, poetry, singing, drawing and essay writing competitions at Parisha.
On the occasion, the live session of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, was also displayed in which staff from OSC, Palash, Parisha, Culture Cell Doda were present for the occasion. Later, the DSWO Doda presented prizes to the winners.
