Deputy Commissioner Sh Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa conducted a routine meeting today to assess the status of the upcoming girls' school in Mehdipur Village. The meeting was attended by ADC (RD) Sagar Setia, District Education Officer (Secondary) S. Jarnail Singh, Sarpanch of Mehdipur, BDPO Rajwinder Kaur, and Tehsildar Nawanshahr.

The initiative, supported by the voluntary contribution of land from the Panchayat of Mehdipur, aims to establish a dedicated school for girls. The Education Department has been actively engaged in the planning and execution phases.

During the meeting, the officials apprised the Deputy Commissioner of the ongoing processes and developments related to the project. The Panchayat's generous contribution of land was acknowledged as a significant step toward enhancing educational infrastructure in the region.

Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of coordination among all stakeholders and directed the officials to expedite the project. He expressed optimism about the positive impact the girls' school would have on the education landscape of Mehdipur Village and commended the collaborative efforts of the Panchayat and the Education Department.
