Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rakesh Minhas today felicitated winner students of Wall painting competition organized across the district under the banner of Swachhta Pakhwada( Swachhta Hi Sewa) from 25th Sept to 2nd Oct 2023 by the District Administration. The formal Felicitation ceremony was held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner.
While interacting with the winners, the DC appreciated the skills of the participating students who portrayed their ideas of cleanliness besides brushing their creative suggestions to upkeep the cleanliness making it a part of our social ethics. He said students have a great role in spreading the message of cleanliness as they are the key catalyst in bringing change in the mindsets of common people.
Pertinently, the Wall painting competition on Swachhta Hi Sewa was held under the supervision of Chief Education Officer Kathua in coordination with Tehsildar HQ Aana Jamwal wherein 30 schools from different parts of the district participated.
The event was held under the overall supervision of DICC Kathua Monika Khosla alongwith the team member’s comprising DNO Deepak Kumar and 15 ZNOsThe DC gave away Prize Cheques and certificates among the winners.
