District Administration Reasi celebrated 5th UT Foundation Day in the Auditorium of District Administrative Complex Reasi. The event was attended by Chairman, District Development Council Saraf Singh Nag & members of the council, PRI Members, prominent citizens, students of various Higher Secondary Schools as well as Degree Colleges and District Officers.
A documentary on Badalta Khilta Jammu & Kashmir was screened to familiarize the participants about extensive Developmental initiatives as well as positive changes brought in the District during the last four years.A Cultural programme was organized in which students participated with great enthusiasm displaying the prevalent cultures of the Union Territory and the local culture of the District Reasi.
Later, meritorious students, progressive farmers, entrepreneurs, outstanding Sports persons and the students who have won various competitions in the run up to UT foundation day were felicitated by the District Administration. District Development Commissioner, Babila Rakwal, SSP Amit Gupta, ADDC Jyoti Slathia, ADC Abdul Star, ACR Reasi, CEO, ACD, Tehsildar Reasi and other district Officers and officials were present on the occasion.
