Jammu and Kashmir Resident Commission (JKRC) in association with the Union Ministry of Tourism and Department of Tourism, UT of J&K today organised Food Festival at Chanakyapuri Guest House, here.The festival was held in connection with ongoing celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat and will last for three days.

The event gave an opportunity to UT of J&K to share its rich culinary heritage and disseminate information about tourism and provides a chance for visitors to experience the diverse flavours and cuisines of J&K.

The Ministry of Tourism, GOI is supporting this event under Dekho Apna Desh initiative through promotion and branding.The Cuisines of Jammu and Kashmir are the key feature of the event and besides an Exhibition-cum-sale of Horticulture products has also been organised in the sidelines of the festival.
