To pay tribute to the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces and honour the families of martyrs, a function was Sunday organized by the District Administration Kulgam in collaboration with RDD, under the banner of ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’– Mitti Ko Naman Veeron Ka Vandan at mini-secretariat Kulgam.

During the function, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat and SSP Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal presented mementos and Shawls to the family members of the martyrs.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that this programme has been organised to remember martyrs and to pay tributes to the brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the Nation and to honour their families.

ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri; ACD, ACR, A-SP and other officers from civil and police administration participated in the programme.To pay tribute to the martyrs, another function was held near Shilaphalakam Chensar Kulgam where families were honoured by DC and SSP Kulgam.ADDC, ACD and other officers were present on the occasion.
