The Health Department, in collaboration with the District Administration, concluded its 4th free medical camp at Primary Health Centre Dachhan under the “Doctors Apke Gaon Mai” initiative. The initiative aims to provide comprehensive medical screening services to remote villages in Kishtwar.

A total of 1285 patients were examined by specialists, including Gynaecologist, Physician, Civil Surgeon, Paediatrician, Ophthalmologist and Dental Surgeon. The three-month-long initiative is designed to address the healthcare needs of under-served communities in the region.

The primary objective is to bridge the healthcare gap between urban and rural areas, with a particular emphasis on reaching vulnerable populations with limited access to medical resources.
