For the unversed, Bollywood’s veteran actress Kajol Devgn yesterday removed all her IG posts saying she is taking a break from social media and also posted that she is ‘Facing one of the toughest trials of my life’. Her post left all her fans in panic and wondering about her well being. She didn't give any clear reason for doing so which raised many questions in the industry as well as the public.

But soon she posted the poster of her upcoming Disney Plus Hotstar legal drama series named ‘The Trial’ which made people understand that the earlier post was nothing else but just a promotional stunt that Kajol performed just to build anticipation for her upcoming series.
This promotional tactic resulted heavily on her and people started slamming and trolling her for performing such an activity which put her fans in worry and also hurt their emotions. As a result, #ShameOnKajolHotstar started trending on Twitter.
