In a boost to Rayat Bahra University, 515 students from the 2023 batch have been placed in 174 companies, according to Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra. The students have been offered an annual salary package of up to 32.5 lakhs during the placement drive.

Some of the prominent companies that selected the students include New Zealand-based The Landmark Group, Zscaler, Bebo Technologies, Hitachi, Quark, Callidus Thing, GlobalLogic, and Tommy Hilfiger.

Bahra also revealed that four B.Tech students were offered a package of Rs 17 lakh by Zscaler, while 28 students received an offer of Rs 5 lakh from Bebo Technologies. Additionally, 319 other students who passed out this year have been offered a package of Rs 5 lakhs per annum by 101 companies.

Bahra attributed the increase in placements and attractive salary packages to the university's collaboration with the industry and its focus on nurturing students' skills. He also stated that RB University's partnership with industry has resulted in more opportunities for students and the availability of attractive salary packages.

Furthermore, he said that RB University's career development program, which includes soft skills training and internships, has helped students prepare for the job market.

The RB University's placement drive success comes as welcome news, especially given the challenging job market conditions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
