A massive crowd thronged the roads and streets of Jalandhar West assembly constituency to express support and solidarity with Congress candidate Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary in her roadshow.
The roadshow, flagged off by Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, started from Avtar Nagar and traversed through Bhargo Camp, wards 34, 35 and 36, Buddha Mal Park, Chappli Chowk and main bazaar areas, attracting an immense crowd of supporters along the way.
Spearheaded by Mahila Congress workers, the roadshow witnessed an overwhelming display of support, with a sea of people as far as the eye could see. The people thronged both sides of the roads and streets to greet Karamjit Chaudhary, who accepted their love with folded hands.
The enthusiasm and energy of the participants were palpable, reflecting the immense support garnered by Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary's candidacy.Addressing the spirited gathering in Avtar Nagar, Karamjit Chaudhary expressed her gratitude for the tremendous turnout and the unwavering support received from the people of Jalandhar.
She said, "today's massive gathering is a testament to the popularity and respect people had for my husband Santokh Singh Chaudhary. He was a people’s politician and was always among them. I am humbled and honored to witness such overwhelming support."
Amarinder Singh Raja Warring also addressed the crowd, emphasizing the importance of the by poll and urging everyone to unite behind Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary as the candidate who will champion their aspirations and represent their interests at the national level.
He said Karamjit Chaudhary is committed to working tirelessly to improve the lives of the residents and ensure their voices are heard at the highest levels of government through Lok Sabha.
