There are many truths which get buried due to certain reasons but Indian cinema is working very well in depicting and unveiling the real stories through films which many times lands into controversies. One of the most controversial films which has been in trouble right after its teaser release is ‘The Kerala Story’ after which the Congress demanded to ban the film. But, now after facing many issues, the film has got its release date and the makers have also shared the trailer of the film.
The trailer of much awaited film ‘The Kerala Story’ by Sudipto Sen is now out unveiling many true events and the film will be released on 5 May 2023. Speaking about the trailer, it shows the story of four women who are just college students in Kerala becoming the part of a terror organisation ISIS. It shows how innocent Non-Muslims girls are manipulated to love jihad and then converted to Islam and the girls are then trafficked to ISIS-hit middle eastern countries
The producer of the film Vipul Shah spoke about the film and said that the film is based on true events and it involved a lot of research and it is an attempt from their side to just reveal the truth in front of everyone. He said, “The film is an amalgamation of years of research and true stories which have never been dared to be told before, it will uncover many hidden truths that have been hidden for long. It will uncover the dangerous threat radicalisation poses to the women of our nation and will create awareness about this conspiracy being hatched against India.”

“The film aims to become the voice of tens of thousands of women across the globe who have been indoctrinated and exploited for terrorism and other crimes,” he added.
Also according to a recent investigation, it's been since 2009 that approximately 32000 Hindu and Christian women belonging to Kerala and Mangalore have been converted to Islam and most among them eventually wind up in Syria, Afghanistan, and other regions with a high concentration of ISIS and Haqqani influence.
The Kerala Story is directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Shah under A Vipul Amrutlal Shah Production. The film features Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, Siddhi Idnani, Vijay Krishna, Pranay Pachauri, Pranav Mishra portraying the lead roles. The film will be released in theatres on 5 May 2023 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.
This movie will reveal many truths and sufferings that are going on within Kerala since 2009 and will expose the conspiracy.
