Congress candidate for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election, Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, along with the Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa, paid obeisance at Devi Talab Mandir and participated in the Ram Navmi Shobha Yatra here on Wednesday.

They were accompanied by Jalandhar North MLA Avtar Singh Jr., Phillaur MLA Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary, Jalandhar (Urban) Congress President Rajinder Beri and Nakodar constituency in-charge Dr. Navjot Dahiya.

The Congress leaders visited the temple to seek blessings and joined the Ram Navmi Shobha Yatra, which was held with great enthusiasm and devotion.Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary said it was a great privilege to participate in the festival of Ram Navmi, which signifies the victory of good over evil. “I pray that Lord Ram bless everyone with happiness, peace and prosperity,” she added.
