Mitran Da Naa Chalda Movie Review
Direction
With excellent films in the past, Pankaj Batra has already demonstrated his capability and has added another feather to his hat. He is absolutely fantastic in his role as director of the movie and frequently provides reasons to clap and cheer. Amazing character introduction, storytelling, action sequences and everything was spot on. We can clearly say he just took the movie to another level with his extraordinary work.
Story & Screenplay
Written by Rakesh Dhawan, the story of the movie is strong and highlights the dark side of society. It starts with the introduction of Gippy Grewal's (Laadi) character as a teenager. He is just not a regular schoolboy because of his stammering problem and it becomes difficult for him to cope with the teasing society. But with time he finds his interest in law studies and court sessions and joins his maternal uncle (Hardip Gill) who is a lawyer by profession. His curious nature helps him to polish his knowledge regarding law and order.
Moving forward, the characters of Tania (Binder), and Rajdip Shoker (Karam) along with the other two female leads are introduced and their struggle in a man-dominant society can be seen. To stamp their value, they find a plan to take revenge on the people from whom they faced humiliation but end up in a situation of trouble. But what makes the film interesting is how they manage to get out of what will be disclosed in the movie.
The screenplay of the movie is perfectly done by Rakesh Dhawan leaving no unanswered questions behind. Every character had a tale which was told in the best way possible.
The dialogues in the film were simply superb and included references to more Gippy Grewal films, which served as an excellent icebreaker for us. Rakesh Dhawan did a good job with the difficult dialogue that the stuttering Gippy Grewal character required.

Acting
Multi-talented Gippy Grewal has done it again and comes out as the shining star in the movie. His character adaptation and understanding of the same were excellent. He showed some skills to play the stammering and innocent character of Laadi. Be it action, romance, humour, or emotion everything from him was top-notch. Also, there are many instances in the movie where he will force you to give a standing ovation.
Shweta Tiwari (Indu Mittal) might have got the minimum screen time but gets full marks for her role. Her arguments and faceoff with the character of Gippy Grewal were a treat to watch.
Tania (Binder) has given a great performance. She just switched the situations fluently without any discomfort. Rajdip Shoker was innocent and played her part well. The other two girls played their part well and gave good support to the cast.
The duo Anita Devgan and Nirmal Rishi were full of humour and delivered an ample dose of laughter. Hardip Gill beautifully supported the entire cast of the movie.
At last, we can say that every character plays their part perfectly. And also supported each other on big screens very neatly.
Music & Background
There are four songs in the film but Dhola was the actual treatment for all the viewers. The movie has hooked the audience with its spectacular background score which hasn't bored us even for a second. Both songs and background score were engaging and enthralled the viewers.
Conclusion
Overall the film has enough reasons to be marked in the list of must-watch films. And Team 5 Dariya gives 4.5 stars out of 5 to Mitran Da Naa Chalda. Point five has been deducted for a quick finish and an unsuitable title.
