Patiala Foundation ‘iHERITAGE' in association with District Administration, Patiala organised Patiala Heritage Photography Contest (Online) as part of Patiala Heritage Festival 2023. The contest was open from 26th December 2022 to 26th February 2023 to both Professional as well amateur categories of people to participate.
We have received various entries of tangible and Intangible Heritage for both the categories. The entries were adjudged by the eminent personalities in the field of photography, Sh. Jaideep Narula and S. Jastaran Singh and the 3 entries were selected by them for both the categories.
The winners for Category: Professional were JP Singh (1st), Abhishek Shinde (2nd) and Jagdish Singh (3rd), and for Category: Amateur, the winners were Taranbir Singh (1st), Hardeep Singh Ahuja (2nd) and Amit Singla (3rd).
All the winners were honoured with souveniers and cash prizes by Deputy Commissioner, MS. Sakshi Sawhney IAS and she said that these participants have made commendable efforts to preserve their heritage by clicking photographs related to heritage.
She further congratulated the CEO of Patiala Foundation Sh Ravee Singh Ahluwalia for always coming forward towards the recognition of Heritage.Sh. Ravee Singh Ahluwalia and his team including Sh SP Chand, Sh Rakesh Badhwar, S Anmoljit Singh, Sh Rakesh Goyal, Dr. Nidhi Sharma , Dr. Abhninandan Bassi, , Hardeep Kaur and others.
