A Candle light protest was held in Main Chowk Pulwama by a group of People against the killing of Sanjay Pandit was killed by militants in Achan Village on Sunday Morning showed solidarity with the family of the victim.
Reports said, large no of people assemble at clock tower Main Chowk and held Candle light protest against Achan Pandit Killing.People from all walks of life participated in this peaceful candle March, expressed solidarity with the family of the deceased."
One of the protester said, these killings should not happen in kashmir we are against this act ,Islam doesn't teach us to kill any human being.They added Administration should investigate this incident and Justice should be done to the Pandit family.
Civil society, Villagers and Social media Users Condemn this incident of Pandit Killing and offer condolence and unity to the beareved Kashmiri Pandit Family. One of the youth who was part of the Protest write on Social media ,Today protested against the innocent killing of Kasmiri Pandit Sanjay Kumar, It is admirable that local youth and elders of Pulwama came together to protest against the killing of Kashmir pandit Sanjay Kumar and condemned the violence in the strongest possible terms.
