Indian Army conducted a tree plantation drive at Sabra, Rajouri under its Go Green initiative.The event aimed at spreading awareness about planting trees, preserving forested areas and protecting natural wildlife habitats.
The local youth and school children, who are the future of the community and the nation, were especially involved in the event to make them connect with their surroundings and become long term stakeholders in its preservation.
The participants expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and resolved to carry the message of afforestation to their respective communities, while continuously striving to maintain the region clean and green.
