Assistant Labour Commissioner Kishtwar, Amit Kumar today visited and  inspected the facilities being provided to the workers at camp number 312 at Dool power house site of HEP Pakal Dul.During the visit, he interacted with the workers residing in the camp and listened to their grievances being faced by them in day to day life.

The main workers demanded adequate mess area facilities, drinking water and medical facilities. Besides, they stressed on the replacement of the available ambulance vehicles on an urgent basis and ensuring transport facility from work site to camp and vice versa, besides the proper bedding in the rooms.

The ALC Kishtwar assured that the principal employer and the contractors involved shall be directed to provide all the basic facilities to the workers at the earliest.Later, the ALC interacted with company authorities along with the Workers Union and discussed various issues being faced by the workers.

The AFCONs infrastructure Ltd. Authorities were on the spot directed to resolve the issues within a time bound manner so that the workers do not suffer any more.Meanwhile, the Project authorities assured ALC Kishtwar that they will take concrete steps to meet the highlighted demands of the workers in a time bound manner.
