Amit Sharma, Secretary Geology and Mining along with Director Geology and Mining, O P Bhagat. today attended the Diwali Mela organised by district administration in Swanka area of Samba district. They also visited the site where special camps were being organised for the awareness of the general public about various government schemes and initiatives.
On the occasion, special hands on training session e-challan and e-market place procedures for sale/purchase of raw material/minor minerals. Briefing the gathering regarding e-Marketplace provisioned by the Mining Department and switching over to generation of e-Challans and e-market place for sale/purchase of raw material/minor minerals, Amit Shamra stressed upon 100% usage of e-market place for transparency and efficiency.
Public gathering which included the stakeholders like Brick Kiln owners, Lease holders, Stone Crusher holders and other connected persons including public representatives interacted with the officers and put forth their issues which were promptly addressed by him while issuing directions to all concerned for on the spot redressal.
Both the Secretary and Director further assured that all genuine demands have been noted and shall be addressed as soon as possible.The public present on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the mining department for introducing such revolutionary services in order to procure the minor minerals through online mode.
