The biopic of legendary Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila is currently a hot topic. Diljit, who had earlier dropped the hint that he might play the role, is prepping for the same. Now, it has been rumoured that the shooting of the film has started. Diljit has unveiled the first look of the same. First, he shared the picture of Chamkila on his Instagram story, and now the singer has dropped his picture. He has been seen wearing Chamkila’s T-shirt.

He is also seen as having a very short beard and giving the look of Amar Singh Chamkila. Moreover, Imtiaz Ali earlier disclosed that he has been working on a biopic of a legendary artist.
Moreover, the makers have also revealed that the shoot of the film will start in October 2022. And here it is. Fans are really excited and the first look of Diljit Dosanjh donning the role of Chamkila is now making its rounds on the internet. It has also been reported that Parineeti Chopra might be seen opposite Diljit Dosanjh. The music for the film has been given by AR Rahman.
Speaking of the biopic and the legendary artist, it has also been noted that Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife Amarjot were killed, along with two other members of their musical band, on March 8, 1988. Their assassination remains an unresolved case to date. However, this is one of the most highly anticipated movies of not only Imtiaz's career but Diljit's too.
