District Hub For Empowerment Of Women (DHEW), Mission Shakti Kishtwar organised an awareness event on "World Mental Health Day" here at Little Angel High School.The students were sensitised about Key concerns of mental health, Mental illness and its major effects on people's lives worldwide.
Interacting with the students, Officials of DHEW sensitised them about this year's theme - "Make Mental Health and Wellbeing for all a Global Priority".The speakers threw light on the devastating effect of COVID-19 pandemic which has raised mental stress among the people all over the world.
They maintained that lives were left permanently altered by the virus, so it is important to organise such programmes on World Mental Health Day for raising awareness about the mental health issues.
