The news has been displayed that a girl from Chandigarh University has been making obscene videos of her co-mates. And after this sensitive information went viral, protests erupted on the Chandigarh University campus.
And now a similar case has been hitting the headlines. It has been reported that an individual who works as a sweeper at a private hostel was detained after female students accused him of producing pornographic recordings. The incident happened in a hostel where medical students were residing in Kanpur's Tulsi Nagar neighbourhood.

As in the CU case, similarly, the video was made when the girls were taking a shower. He has been filming the videos for a while, so they are not brand-new. The video has been made from the broken portion of the bathroom door, and one of the girls from the hostel also explains that they complained about the same thing, but it was overlooked. The sweeper has been named Rishi, and he has been working in the hostel for the last seven years, as told by a police officer. The police took the employee into their custody.
It has been reported by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Kalyanpur, DK Shukla, “A worker of Kanpur's Sai Niwas Girls Hostel was taken into custody after a NEET aspirant filed a complaint accusing him of making their videos. Ten-twelve other girls came along with her. The accused worked there for about eight years.”
He further said the accused had been working at the hostel for about 8 years. "A case has also been registered and action shall be taken," he added. The investigation has been processed. Now, it has been reported that a nameplate was hanging outside the hostel. It had the name of the police officer on it. He has also been questioned. The name of SP Surendra Tiwari was written on the nameplate.
When asked by Bulandshahr SP Surendra Tiwari, he said, 'I do not have any building in Kanpur, I have nothing to do with this building, I do not have any property in Kanpur.' On the other hand, accused Manoj Pandey says that this hostel belonged to Shashi Nomani.

Adverse Hostel Cameras
All the CCTV cameras installed in the hostel were found defective. In such a situation, the security of the hostel was going on only on Ram's trust. Despite having 70 female students in the hostel, no security personnel was posted there.
In the investigation so far, it has been found that the house does not belong to the SP. Who put his number plate on and when is also being investigated. Further action will be taken based on the investigation.
