The Department of Youth Services and Sports Budgam conducted various activities and awareness campaigns against Drugs abuse under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at different institutions/schools and localities of the district.During the ongoing campaign, students and staff took pledge against drug abuse and vowed to fight against this menace.
They also pledged to aware the masses, especially youth, to keep themselves away from these deadly drugs.Speaking on the occasion, Gurmukh Singh Dutta, DYSSO Budgam said that the Youth of the country should shun the bad habits of taking these kinds of fatal drugs and should engage themselves in sports activities for a healthy and joyful life.
The DYSSO Budgam also urged the field staff of the sports department to channelize the energy of youth in the right directions by engaging them in sports related activities.
