Land passbook distribution was today carried out in district Kulgam and passbooks were handed over to more than 100 landowners.The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat also handed over land passbooks to land owners here at Gasren in Tehsil Pahaloo.
Present on the occasion were ACR, Tehsildar and other officers.The DC said that issuance of Land Passbooks is a historic milestone in Revenue Department aimed to promote people’s ease of access to the revenue record.
In other Tehsils concerned Tehsildars handed over Passbooks to landowners.
