On September 2, Friday morning, a migrant worker was shot by a militant in south Kashmir. The victim suffered serious injuries during this attack. Muneerul Islam (Victim) is from West Bengal and has been admitted to the hospital for further treatment.
Terrorists have fired in Pulwama’s UGERKUND NEWA on migrant workers from West Bengal. All of those who got injured during this attack have been admitted to the district hospital and their condition has been confirmed to be normal, said police. The security forces were raised on high alert and they sieged the area. They also rummaged through the whole area.

If reports are to be believed, then in this attack, they threw the grenade at the workers, one of them died and the other two were injured. Forces came into action and they blocked the area.
The one person who died in this attack is recognized as a resident of Bihar’s Sakva Parsa named Mohammad Mumtaz. Other two are identified as Bihar’s Rampur residents as Mohammad Arif and his son Mohammad Majbool.
At the start of this year militants have raised the attacks on the migrant workers. In the last two months, not even a single attack can be seen, but they attacked in the early part of September.
Militants attacking have increased their attacks more on the non-permanent residents and on the minorities. Also, banners like Akhir Kab Tak are seen on the local streets by the local personnel.
