Recently, it has been reported that Sidhu Mosewlaa’s second posthumous song ‘Jaandi Vaar’ with Afsana Khan and Salim Merchant, will be out on September 2. But then the controversy regarding the song has been raised, which states that Merchant has been releasing the song unauthentically. Also, Sidhu’s father, Balkaur Sidhu, took to his social media and shared that they have also raised objections to the release of Jaandi Vaar.

But now, it seems like the team of Jaandi Vaar cancelled the release of the song. Kalakaar wrote on their official Instagram handle that they had decided not to move forward with the release of Sidhu Moosewala's song 'Jaandi Vaar' featuring Afsana Khan and Salim Merchant. They also wrote, ‘For us Sidhu’s family’s emotions are of immense value and we are with them’.

Furthermore, not only Kalakaar but Salim also shared a video in which he said that the song would be released after the team gets the blessing and permission from Sidhu’s parents. He also revealed that Sidhu was excited about the song and that his fans would be happy after listening to this song. The release date of Jaandi Vaar is postponed for now, but soon they will come out with the track. He further wrote that ‘Sidhu Mosewala & Afsana Khan’s Jaandi Vaar will release after we discuss the release date with Sidhu Moosewala ‘s Parents ‘
Meanwhile, the family of the late Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala has protested the publication of a song that was co-written by Salim Merchant and recorded with vocalist Afsana Khan. Salim Merchant, a composer for Bollywood, revealed that this song would be released on September 2.
