Actor R Madhavan had won a lot of praise for his directorial film 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', but his film was average in terms of box office earnings.Due to this there was speculation about his huge loss. In a viral social media post, it was even said that Madhavan even lost his house due to the funding of 'Rocketry'.
It was said in the post that the director of 'Rocketry' had stepped back from this film to fulfill some of his earlier commitments.In such a situation, Madhavan himself put his house at stake to direct and fund 'Rocketry'. He also completed many other projects to fund this film. He was working on this project for the last six years.

Madhavan has written a tweet on such discussions. They wrote,"Oh Yaar. Pls don't over patronize my sacrifice. I did not lose my house or anything. In fact all involved in Rocketry will be very proudly paying heavy Income Tax this year. Gods grace We all made very good and proud profits. I still love and live in my house,"
