Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films and has been making headlines since the day it was announced. The trailer for the film has created a lot of stir among the fans. Not only this, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to inform much about the upcoming sci-fi film. The film has been directed by Ayan Mukerji, and the young filmmaker has created an original film that is set to hit the big screen on September 9.
Recently, Ayan took to his social media and shared the inspirations behind the film in a special video shared by the film's makers. Speaking of the video, Ranbir Kapoor's voice can be heard at the beginning of the clip discussing the power of light. Later, Ayan Mukerji admits that the Brahmastra seed was implanted in his mind as early as his boyhood. He admitted that he has always been a fan of Indian history and mythology and that he used to enjoy listening to his father tell him legends about our Gods and Goddesses. Ayan acknowledges that in his teen years, he was enthralled by Western fantasy series like Harry Potter.

As a result, all the tales of Indian history and mythology that he had heard as a youngster came together as he began to create Brahmastra, and he drew inspiration from them all. Ayan continued by saying that he is happy that Brahmastra is such an innovative movie. Sharing this video, Ayan Mukerji wrote, “INSPIRATIONS… ब्रह्मास्त्र को रोशनी देने वाली प्रेरणा।.”

The film, which has taken nearly a decade to create and execute, is the first in a series of three movies with its roots planted in Indian mythology. Moreover, Brahmastra, a movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna, will be released in theatres on September 9. Furthermore, the film has been produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures.
