BJP District Shimla took our a silent jaloos on the vibhajan vibhishika smriti diwas.The Jaloos started from CTO went through Mall road and ended at Oak over where Chief minister Jairam Thakur received the Jaloos. Minister Suresh bhardwaj, Chairman Roopa Sharma, Ganesh Dutt, district president Ravi mehta, BJP State office bearers Kusum Sadret, Pyar Singh kanwar and Karan nanda were present in the Jaloos.
Chief minister Jairam Thakur said that The pain of partition of the country can never be forgotten, August 14 will be remembered as Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas.He said The pain of partition of the country can never be forgotten. Because of hatred and violence, lakhs of our sisters and brothers were displaced and even lost their lives.
In memory of the struggle and sacrifice of those people, it has been decided to celebrate 14th August as Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas.Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas will not only inspire us to eliminate the poison of discrimination, animosity and ill-will, but it will also strengthen unity, social harmony and human sensibilities.Mandal President Rajesh Sharda, Dinesh thakur and Jitender bhotka were also present on this occasion.
