Today Sh Chetan Singh Jouramajra Cabinet minister of Health and Family Welfare flagged off the CM’s Flagship program on Environment “ Shaheed-E- Azam Bhagat Singh Hariyawal Laher” in his Constituency, Samana, Patiala Forest Division. The program started with planting of Saplings in SRS school, Fatehpur, Samana where the Minister insisted on planting more fruit trees in the constituency and the importance of protecting the trees planted. The Cabinet Minister flagged off the Program by giving away fruit plants to panch and village Sarpanches for planting in the Panchayati Land.
The Divisional Forest officer Ms Vidhyasagari said “ To commemorate the 115th Birth Anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, 50000 sapling and 115 Triveni will be planted in every Constituency of Punjab under this scheme” The program was celebrated in S.R.S school campus in the presence of School Administration, SDM Samana, DSP Samana, Forest Range officer Samana and Forest Staff Samana.
