On the occasion of National Doctor’s Day, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, Mohali made a humble attempt to pay its tribute to Dr. BC Roy in honour of whom this day is celebrated, as well as their very own dedicated doctors of the institution.
A brief presentation on the life and journey of Bharat Ratna Dr. Roy was presented by Dr. Navpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology. This was followed by the faculty sharing their reflective notes on their own journey so far in the field of medicine. The celebrations continued with an abstract art activity wherein the faculty participated by painting their own vision of a doctor’s journey on a canvas.
The event concluded with a note by Dr. Bhavneet Bharti, Director-Principal, AIMS, Mohali, who acknowledged and appreciated the journey of doctors, and added that when we share our personal journeys with one another, it brings us closer and makes us unlearn and learn new things.
