On the basis of SOS call received by PS Keller of district Shopian on 21-06-22 during evening hours for emergency assistance from the Nomads residing temporarily in tents at higher reaches of Kund Panjrikhal area of Keller Shopian, who had stuck due to unseasonal rainfall and there were apprehension of loss of life and property.
Special rescue team headed by SHO PS Keller assisted by SDRF Personnel was constituted on the directions of SSP Shopian Tanu Shree IPS and after the strenuous, all the trapped nomads including women and children were rescued safely.
