Runway 34 stars Ajay Devgn is all set to return as the fierce Vijay Salgaonkar with a second helping of ‘Drishyam’, co-starring Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, and Ishita Dutta. Now, after keeping the nation hooked with its murder mystery in 2015 with Drishyam, the makers will soon be back with the thrilling sequel.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, ‘Drishyam 2’ promises another thrilling journey, packed with drama and excitement. The sequel will continue the story of Vijay and his family’s journey. Moreover, it has been reported that the team has been shooting for the film for quite some time and that filming will be wrapped today in Hyderabad.
The markers have announced the release date and shared the poster of the upcoming film. Making the announcement, Ajay Devgn tweeted, "Attention! #Drishyam 2 releasing in theatres on 18th November 2022."
Apart from the old cast, Akshaye Khanna has been added to the list of pivotal characters. And now it will be interesting to see how the actor's pivotal character adds to the already strong cast. Coming to the credits, Drishyam 2 is backed by Viacom18 Studios, Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Panorama Studios. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Sanjeev Joshi, Aditya Chowksey and Shiv Chanana, Drishyam 2 will release on 18 November, 2022.
Meanwhile, it has been noted that 'Bheed’, starring Rajkummar Rao, will be released on the same day. This powerful story, directed by Anubhav Sinha, also features Bhumi Pednekar and Dia Mirza in crucial parts.
