The Education Minister Meet Hayer today visited three schools falling within the S.A.S. Nagar district.The Minister said that educational sector is the priority area for the State Government and the schools are being visited in order to strengthen the school education sphere in the State at the ground level where apart from inspecting the infrastructure, the views of the students are also being ascertained.The Minister first of all paid a visit to the Government Senior Secondary School Naya Shehar Badala in Kharar Block.Taking a round of each class, the Minister interacted with the students on academics and life in general.
He also interacted with the staff.Afterwards, the Minister visited the Government Primary School Kheri Jattan alongwith Derabassi constituency MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa where he held special interactive session with the Pre-Primary and Anganwari children.He also inspected the old classroom apart from checking the mid deal served to the children.Mr. Meet Hayer also visited Government High School Rasanheri in Kharar Block and interacted with the students and the staff besides taking a round of the school, building and the classrooms.
