Haryana Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that today successfully caught four terrorists after stopping an Innova vehicle near Bastara toll plaza in Karnal and a large amount of explosive material have also been found from these terrorists.Sh. Vij was responding to a question asked by mediapersons here today.He said that after receiving information from the security agencies at 4 am today, Haryana Police took successful action and stopped an Innova vehicle near Bastara toll plaza in Karnal, after which four terrorists were apprehended.The Home Minister said that after conducting searches, the police have recovered 3 IEDs, one country-made pistol, 31 live cartridges, cash amounting to one lakh 30 thousand rupees and 6 mobile phones from these terrorists.
He said that among the arrested accused, Gurpreet, Amandeep, Parvinder are residents of district Ferozepur and accused Bhupinder is a resident of district Ludhiana. These explosives were supplied to the accused by Pakistan-based Harvinder Singh Rinda through drones and they had to deliver the explosives to Adilabad, which is in Telangana.Sh. Vij said that Haryana Police has taken very successful action and immediate action had to be taken, then three vehicles of Dial 112 and a local vehicle took immediate action and caught these terrorists. He said that the matter is being enquired by the security agencies and the rest of the information will be revealed after the inquiry.
