A large number of school vehicles were checked today at Dhanola Road, Barnala under the Safe School Transport Policy under the guidelines of Punjab Government and under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mr. Harish Nair. Secretary RTA Karanbir Singh Chhina said that a checking campaign was launched on Dhanola Road today to make the school drivers aware about the safe school transport policy. About 20 school vehicles were checked on the occasion.

 He said that on this occasion drivers and owners were made fully aware about the documents of school vehicles such as RC, Pollution Certificate, Driver's Uniform, Insurance, Vehicle Permit etc. He said that violation of rules would not be tolerated and the checking campaign would continue in the days to come.
