Four Designated MLAs of District Moga in 'Action Mode'

After coming to power, the four Designated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs of district Moga have entered into 'action mode'.  Mr Manjit Singh Bilaspur MLA of Nihal Singh Wala, Mr Davinderjit Singh Dhos MLA of Dharamkot, Mr Amritpal Singh Sukhanand MLA of Baghapurana and Mrs Amandeep Kaur Arora MLA of Moga today called on Deputy Commissioner Mr Harish Nair, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr Charanjit Singh Sohal, Additional  Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mr Harcharan Singh, SDM Moga Mr Satwant Singh and visited various government offices and institutions and held meetings with senior officials.During the meeting, all the MLAs told the officials that today there was a need to save the common man from getting harassed in government offices/institutions. They said that concerted efforts were needed to change the existing system. This will be their top priority.They said that officials and employees should work in government offices promptly.  Officials and employees who are late for work and corrupt should not be spared any effort.  Bribery will not be tolerated at all. Transfers should be made of employees who have been sitting in the same seat or the same office for a long time. All officers and employees should come and go to the office on time.

They said that the looting of contractors in government institutions should be stopped immediately.  Arrangements must be made for security and other basic amenities at Shahidi Park and Nature Park.  Visiting the Civil Hospital, they said that basic facilities should be provided in the Civil Hospital by all means.  All the MLAs assured that they would not interfere in the affairs of government at all.  He visited the Civil Hospital and Government Schools today and reviewed the arrangements. Earlier Deputy Commissioner Mr Harish Nayar shared information about the geographical, social, economic and other situations of the district with the four MLAs.  He requested them to cooperate with the administration in making the people aware of the importance of not burning wheat stubble during the upcoming wheat harvest.  He assured the MLAs that the district administration would provide government services to the people within the stipulated time frame without any harassment.  Corruption and bribery will not be tolerated by any means. Earlier in a meeting held at the office of Deputy Commissioner, SDM Dharamkot Mrs Charumita, SDM Baghapurana Mr Nitish Singla, District Public Relations Officer Mr Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal and other officials were present.
