The coal mine workers today expressed gratitude to Commissioner Secretary, Mining and General Administration Department, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, for resolving their long pending issues besides streamlining the functioning of Jammu and Kashmir Minerals Limited.Rajesh Gupta, Abdul Gafoor and Mithilesh Yadav thanked the Commissioner Secretary for ensuring regular release of salary of coal mine workers who otherwise were facing lot of hardships on this account. Also, the retirees present on the occasion expressed gratefulness for payment of COLA arrears to them which was pending for so many years.The employees also expressed appreciation for implementation of 7th pay commission.

Commissioner Secretary, while appreciating the Corporation for increasing its revenue, emphasized the workers to work with added zeal and dedication towards making the Corporation a vibrant entity.Managing Director, J&K Minerals Limited, Vikram K Gupta, on behalf of all employees, expressed gratitude to Commissioner Secretary for taking keen interest in working of the Corporation and resolving their issues with personal intervention.Director, Geology and Mining Department, O P Bhagat, Financial Advisor and senior officers of J&K Minerals Limited were also present on the occasion.
